Sweet and Delightfully playful. These are the words used by Jo Malone to describe my favourite scent- Nectarine Blossom and Honey. There really is something about this scent that uplifts me so I wanted to share with you all a collective review of the products I currently have from this collection. The Nectarine Blossom and Honey scent is quite simply divine!
Pictured above from left to right is the 30ml cologne priced at £40.00, 250ml bath oil priced at £40.00, 100ml cologne priced at £82.00, 250ml hand and body wash priced at £28.00, and finally the 175ml body creme priced at £50.00.
The scent has a top note of cassis, a heart note of acacia honey and a base note of peach. It would be the perfect scent for fragrance layering yet for me it is beautiful enough on its own!
The Nectarine Blossom and Honey scent has a lovely warm lingering note that last all day. Three to four sprays of the perfume is enough to see me from morning to evening however I have bought the smaller 30ml bottle to pop into my handbag and to take on holiday. When in the bath, I like to dispense two to three pumps of the hand and body wash onto a body polisher and find this is enough to lather my body in a thick coat of luxuriosly scented bubbles. For days when I really feel like pampering I like to run a little of the bath oil under a running tap. The golden oil transforms in water to a slightly white milky colour and the scent floats through the bathroom wafting the delicate warm scent throughout house. It does not leave a oily residue in the bath tub so is safe for shower / bath combinations. I like to use the body creme daily after bathing and find this locks moisture into my skin. It is a thick rich cream but does not clog my pores.
This is one of those scents that I find simply irresistible. It really is beautiful. I have the Nectarine Blossom and Honey candle on my wish list…..now that really is the making for bath time heaven!
